This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

This course has taught me what I missed in school as far as the grammar is concerned, and has given me insight in how to present a lesson, and the type of activities I could engage in with a larger group or class. I have a pretty good idea how to deal with a 1-1 situation. It has stretched my imagination about what to do with students and how to motivate them. In the beginning when I started this course I signed up with the local volunteer bureau and will be teaching pretty soon. I also plan to apply for work at Sochi in russia because I think they will need teachers to get volunteers up to speed when the winter games will happen there in 2014. I have the advantage of being able to speak Russian so this will not be a major stretch for me to stay there and enjoy the location. Next year I plan to travel to Russia and get first hand information about applying for a job, how to get a work visa, and I also will travel to Sochi to see for myself what the situation is. I am not looking to make a lot of money but enough to pay expenses and travel from canada. Since I am retired I have a steady income so I really don?t need very much extra.
