This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

Speaking english my entire life, I never technically understood what I was doing when I wrote or spoke. I knew that my language was being utilized correctly, but I wasn?t sure why. Learning about all the different tenses made me realize how complicated english actually is. There are many situational factors that must be considered when writing and speaking, changing the entire grammar structure. Though I am an advanced speaker, these things are still difficult for me to immediately grasp. Therefore, it?s imperative that as I go forward with teaching, I explain things with simplicity and clarity. I?m currently teaching young learners in a monolingual class. Learning about all the different activities available to teach will help me add variety to my classroom. The formal structure of each tense was great for me to re-learn. It makes english a bit more ?mathmatical?, thus, simplified. I will also focus on repetition more than I have in the past and be more conscious of each class lesson plan.
