This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

I didn?t have any teaching experience before this course and I have learned quite a lot. I have the confidence to write a lesson plan and many creative ideas to bring relatable information to the lesson. I have the background knowledge of managing a class. I learned how to be flexible with the lesson plans. A lesson plan that I make say look good on paper and may also look great to the co teacher I will be working with. However, during class time we may notice that for some activities we really need to slow it down. We may run short on time so some activities may need to be sped up. Without taking this course I would be lost in the classroom. I would like to add that the DVD clip was of excellent help to me ! The second lesson was obviously more favorable. When I watched the lesson carried out by the teacher I had a well rounded idea of how to Engage, Study, and Activate. The ice breaker/introduction is a great way to engage the class at the first language class!
