I have gained valuable information about how to teach both young learners, adult learners and individuals in the correct manner to give the maximum benefit to the students. I have learnt what is important in the educating of others. On studying this course I have also learnt the basic order in which to teach the english language, which areas are the most vital and that areas may be linked. I have come to realize how complex the language is though I speak it everyday. The productive skills are all important to the student, where fluency and accuracy are equally important. I have been made aware that every student is different and teaching english cannot be rushed. There are many ways to teach the different aspects of the english language, that can be made fun and enjoyable by the student. The course has given me tones of ideas I can put into practice in the classroom. I have also learned that lesson planning is not difficult with practice. I plan to use a lesson plan for every lesson, taking note of the basic order of how it is taught using effective fun methods to get the whole class involved.
