The School

The Melbourne CELTA training center is committed to providing the very best teacher and language training in the city. The center was started by and continues to be run by professional teachers who are internationally experienced and qualified in their field. We are focused on helping every individual student to reach their potential and to find work once qualified.

Another reason we are a popular choice for students worldwide is the fact that our tutors speak a range of languages, including French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish. Our extensive experience of teaching around the world means we can also help our students to prepare for whatever awaits them in the teaching destination of their choice. Thanks to our international connections, we are able to arrange interviews at many top English language schools worldwide for our students once qualified.

Accommodation

As you might expect from a major international city, Melbourne has no shortage of accommodation options. There are plenty of affordable options aimed at students, including those found through companies such as Airbnb, Stayz and GumTree. Long-term options are also available through rental leases that usually run for a 12-month period. Generally speaking, the further you are from the city center, the cheaper the accommodation. Luckily, as the city has excellent public transport options, you are unlikely to be living more than 30 minutes away from the CBD.

Other short-term options include a wide range of hotels and hostels that cover almost any budget. Websites such as Last Minute and Wotif are good places to start your search. If you require any help or advice on accommodation we are happy to help during and after the course booking process.
