Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) often branches into specific areas that concentrate on teaching particular groups of students. Worldwide demand for qualified EFL teachers in these fields is increasing every year, which is why we have developed a range of specialized courses that are focused on preparing teachers with these skills.

These ITTT specialized courses are available for initial or further study:

• 60-hour ITTT Course in teaching business English (CTBE)
• 60-hour ITTT Course in teaching English to young learners (CTEYL)
• 60-hour ITTT Course in Teaching English Online (CTEO)

The benefit of earning specialized certifications is that you will find that such qualifications improve your ability to teach effectively in these diverse teaching situations. These programs will also work as effective refresher courses for anyone who completed their TEFL certification some time ago.

Our specialized courses have been designed to provide you with the skills and abilities to manage and develop your students’ learning process. Each course requires roughly 50 or 60 hours of study.

Multi-course Packages

These specialized courses are also available as part of a multi-course package. The 220-hour Master Package includes three online courses; the 120-hour TEFL course, the 50-hour course in teaching business English (CTBE), and the 50-hour course in teaching English to young learners (CTEYL). The package comes with online tutor support and either three individual certificates (one for each component), or one 220-hour certificate covering all three courses.

If you want to kick-start your teaching career with the widest range of qualifications possible, you should go for the 550-hour Expert Package. With this option you get all the courses contained in the Master Package, with the addition of the 50-hour course in Teaching English Online (CTEO), the 250-hour Diploma, and an optional 30-hour teaching practice component. Once again, the package includes tutor support and you can choose whether to receive five individual certificates (six if you complete the optional teaching practice), or a single 550-hour certificate that covers the entire course.
