Online TEFL Certification Courses

Our online TEFL courses are studied 100% by distance learning and can be taken with or without the support of a personal online tutor.

As it is an online TEFL course there is no classroom time and no teaching practice component. You will however, have the opportunity to see actual lessons taking place via our online videos.

Our online TEFL courses are primarily designed for those people who wish to study an internationally recognized TEFL course but have time and/or budget constraints which don't allow them to attend one of our training centres.

The advantages of this course are that you are able to study at your own pace, you can take the course from anywhere in the world and the courses are priced very competitively.

Combined TEFL Certification Courses

Combined TEFL courses are named as such because they combine the best of the online and in-class TEFL courses. You study the principles and theories of TEFL online at your own pace and then go on to attend one of our training centers to gain classroom teaching practice.

These courses are ideal for those people that wouldn't enjoy the intensive nature of an in-class TEFL course but would like to gain some teaching practice.

As the combined TEFL course only requires between five and ten days attendance at a training centre, it is also more suited to those who aren't able to attend an in-class TEFL course for 4 weeks.

The combined course features all the same components as an in-class course and therefore results in equivalent TEFL certification.

In-Class TEFL Certification Courses

In-class TEFL courses are 100% based in the classroom and as a result you get the opportunity to practice teaching real students of English during the course. In-class TEFL courses are intensive and the course duration is 4 weeks.

As in-class courses are classroom based they require 4-week attendance at a training centre. We offer training centres in a wide range of interesting and exotic locations worldwide with TEFL courses available in Thailand, France, Spain, Italy, USA, England, Costa Rica, Argentina, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Egypt and the Czech Republic.

In-class TEFL certification is ideally suited to people that wish to learn the theories, principles and methodologies of TEFL but also wish to gain practical classroom experience in a supervised environment. The teaching practice is observed by our qualified staff and you will therefore get constructive feedback on your strengths and weaknesses as a teacher.

Diploma TEFL Certification Courses

Our advanced diploma course is studied entirely through distance learning and subsequently can be studied in your own time in a working environment of your own choice. You can take the course with the advice and guidance of one of our dedicated personal tutors, or you can opt for the self-study course.

The advanced diploma course is specifically designed to further the skills and knowledge of practicing teachers who already hold a regular TEFL certificate. The concepts and theories that will be presented to you throughout this course are of an advanced nature and will show you some of the more intricate theories behind EFL teaching. You will need to provide your own insight and opinions into the many different topics that are covered and will also be required to undertake independent research. The in-depth nature of the TEFL Diploma is fully reflected by the timeframe given to complete the course.

Specialized TEFL Certification Courses

We also offer a range of more specialized and advanced qualifications for teachers that already have, or are studying for, TEFL certification.

There is specialist certification in teaching business English and specialist certification in teaching English to young learners. Both of these are 50-hour online courses and no classroom attendance is required.

220-hour Master Package

Our Master Package provides the opportunity to complete a range of courses that will give you a broad understanding of language teaching. The package contains three online courses: the 120-hour TEFL certification course, the 50-hour course in teaching business English (CTBE) and the 50-hour course in teaching English to young learners (CTEYL). You will be given the option of an online tutor to guide you through your studies, as well as the choice of receiving an individual certificate for each course (three in total), or a single 220-hour certificate that covers the whole package

470-hour Professional Package

If you want to complete the full range of online study then you should go for the Professional Package. The package contains four online courses: the 120-hour online TEFL certification course, the 50-hour course in teaching business English (CTBE), the 50-hour course in teaching English to young learners (CTEYL), and the 250-hour TESOL Diploma course. As above, you will be given the option of tutor support and the choice of either four individual certificates (one for each course), or a single 470-hour certificate that covers the whole package.
