TEFL Videos - English Grammar -- Present Perfect Continuous -- Teaching Ideas 2 -- TEFL Certification
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
This unit discussed the latter two of the language skills - productive skills. These skills are speaking and writing and are just as important as reading and listening. In fact, according to the lesson, writing is a skill that many English teachers do not spend too much time on. It is true that writing does take more quiet time and allows less time for students to be interactive. However, it is a skill that takes quite some time to nurture and should be focused on in any given lesson. Like other lessons, there were examples of how to execute an ESA lesson when focusing on these productive skills.
