This lesson reviewed the many types of material to be used in the classroom. They offer many advantages such as: providing a good mix of knowledge and review for the students; giving lessons at the academic level of the students; and it can help stimulate interest and involvement from the class. However, the supporting material can sometimes be outdated, limited in scope of coverage, and not allow much flexibility in what is taught. Thus the instructor should keep these in mind so he/she can add supplemental work to the lessons.
