Golden Opportunity - English Idioms

The idiom "golden opportunity" refers to a chance that is likely to be rewarding and successful, for example: The low price for the house is a golden opportunity we must not waste. The price for the house is very cheap at the moment, so we should buy it before the price increases again.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

When a student wants to take an English course, he needs to pass a placement test. The teacher can understand students' needs and their weak areas by giving a diagnostic test at the beginning of the course. Then, he can monitor the language students have learnt by giving progress tests, and finally, the practice tests can be given to prepare for external examination (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS). Cambridge assessment is designed to test general English (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE), skills for life (ESOL) and business English (BEC, BULATS).
