Sweet Tooth - English Idioms

The idiom "sweet tooth" refers to having a strong liking for sweet foods, for example: It's difficult for me to lose weight because I have a sweet tooth.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

I think it was important to note the uses of speaking and writing skills in this lesson. It was also important to note the differences in languages, especially for those students who utilize a different alphabet system than English does. I like how the lesson gave many activities to encourage students to speak freely, and an important item to note is making sure the classroom environment is encouraging and welcoming for students. It is difficult to do public speaking, and even more so when a student is learning another language.
