This unit was a needed refresher in past tense. As a native speaker, its something I rely on phonetically to do correctly. With regards to past tense, understanding the degrees of difference between past simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous, are important to know in those terms if I am going to introduce it to a new learner.
