Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
In this Unit we learned of many teaching tools and materials that can be used by the teacher to aid them in their lesson. I personally enjoyed the Overhead Projector while I was in school. It was very large to see, can be color coded, and over-lapping of the transparencies really helped with corrections or visually seeing something else. I personally dislike the IWB. It's being used in school now and there seems to be more issues than solutions. When working, its awesome! When its not, which is frequently, its useless and we result back to the chalkboard.
