Andra is from Indonesia and is studying for his master’s degree at a university in Malaysia. As I am not yet certain what my job abroad will be, this unit was particularly helpful. During this unit, the different language settings and instruction topics were covered from young learners, to beginners, to teaching business English. It is absolutely essential that a teacher understand its pupils and adjust classroom teaching for their needs and interests. It would be utterly ridiculous to teach the same material in the same way to five-year-olds and business workers alike. Therefore, it is necessary to modify lessons and objectives based upon the learners at hand.
