Athena chose to do the online course because she was already working as a teacher and she needed to be able to fit her studying around her job.

This unit covered productive skills and how they can be incorporated into the lesson. It mentioned that speaking activities are more often taught than writing activities. Since writing activities take time, they tend to get assigned as homework. However, this means the homework may not get completed and the students end up losing out on improving their writing skills. This unit also encouraged the use of games in the classroom, however, not to fill in the time. Games need to be incorporated with a specific purpose in mind which will help students work towards their goal.
