Unit 9 covered lesson planning: it went over the importance of planning a lesson, the benefits of having lesson plans, and general structure. I learned how to properly plan a lesson and the different components that should be recorded when creating a lesson plan. Previously, I did not think about writing down anticipated problems for both students and the teacher, but it is a good idea to come up with solutions beforehand just in case anything goes wrong. Using this format to plan lessons will also aid in helping me as a teacher to be more confident in front of a classroom.
