TEFL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Chaabane
Chaabane from Tunisia has recently completed the 120-hour online TEFL course with tutor support and videos from ITTT. Initially Chaabane was a bit nervous about completing the course but soon found out that the course was enjoyable to take. He was impressed by the course materials which he found to be comprehensive. Chaabane would recommend ITTT’s online TEFL courses to anyone considering a career in teaching English.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
When selecting new vocabulary to introduce to the students it is important to consider it appropriacy, its pronunciation in relation to the students' native language, and its similarity to already known English vocabulary. New grammar structures should be presented while thinking about its patterns, usage, meaning, and differences in spoken and written forms. For the last point a teacher should think about teaching a student both the formal and informal ways native English speakers use the grammar formats. Teachers should also consider the most beneficial ESA lesson format to present each idea.
