This unit gave a very basic overview of parts of speech, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, articles, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions. It served as a refresher for the more specific terms used in grammar, such as types of pronouns and adverb classifications. I found the order for adjective types useful, as I naturally knew the proper order was size, age, color, material, and then noun, but never formally studied it. Furthermore, I was intrigued by the notion of a zero article, as I was not aware there was also a term for the lack of an article.
