This unit taught me about how to teach grammar and vocabulary to EFL students. I've always considered myself strong with both of these concepts, in the sense that I am able to effectively decipher meaning and context from very large and complex forms of text or dialogue. Despite this, I was nervous as to how I would go about selecting the most important functions and words to teach students. This unit helped me find some parameters for selecting different language items, as well as how to convey these principles to students of different languages.
