What I liked about this unit is that it talked about the use of media in the lesson. Film and music and how to use it effectively. These are two things I hope to use often in my class. One thing that I would have liked more clarity on is what it means to pre-teach difficult concepts and what that would look like and at what point a material it so difficult that pre-teaching material becomes and entire lesson in itself. As a new teacher there's a lot of American slang that I most certainly am not aware is different from other cultures. This will be a challenge.
