TEFL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Ema
Ema is from Slovenia and has recently finished the 120-hour course with ITTT. In this TEFL review video, Ema discusses how the course did a good job of combining the practical and theoretical side of English language teaching. Ema points out that teaching English requires the teacher to put a lot of their own work into the job and recommends this course as a good starting point.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
This unit revised the most important parts of speech in the English language. As a teacher one is expected to be proficient in the language one teaches, hence the need to understand the role of the different parts of speech and the ability to recognize them. Breaking sentences up into the various parts of speech focuses attention on the structure of the English language. Although the unit highlighted the more important rules and exceptions, teachers would be expected to have a substantially broader range of knowledge, developed through the use of the many language and grammar sources available.
