TEFL Videos - TESOL TEFL Reviews - Video Testimonial - Maksim
Maksim from Russia is living and working in Shanghai, China. He took the 120-hour online TEFL course with ITTT and in his TEFL review video he tells us how he found the course to be well organized, interesting and not complicated. Maksim thinks that having the TEFL certificate played an important role in helping him to find a job teaching English in China.
This is what one of our TEFL graduates feels he has gained from the course, or a part of it, and how he plans to put into action what he has learned.
This unit examines modal auxiliary verbs and it is interesting to note the different degrees of formality each one brings. The use of passive voice is mainly for occasions when we do not know or wish to reveal the performer of the action. Somehow I have missed this usage as I have always used a mix of active and passive voices to add variety to my writing. There are two kinds of relative clauses, defining and non-defining, and it can be a little confusing for the non-native speaker. The breakdown of phrasal verbs into intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable is new to me.
