Unit 5 discusses all the salient matters regarding 'Classroom Management.' I learned that gesture, voice and eye contact play pivotal roles in maintaining classroom discipline and in teaching a target language. I also assimilated that there are effective ways to ensure order and discipline in the classroom with regard to teacher's position in the classroom, variety of seating arrangement, calling students by their first names, and writing on the board. This unit must be mastered by language educators so that they will become effective educators in their EFL classrooms.
