The unit is divided into three main topics: auxiliary verbs, passive voice, and phrasal verbs. The auxiliary verbs are usually used to express obligation, probability, necessity, possibility, permission or request. Some of them are similar in their meaning just with different degree of certainty, politeness or probability. The passive voice is used to build sentences where an agent is not important or unknown. Phrasal verbs are commonly used in English though they often mislead students. In the unit, they are divided into three groups: intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable.
