This unit intended to show what effective receptive skills look like and how they can help students digest the material in the classroom better. Reading and listening are key in learning new language concepts for beginner students as well as introducing new vocabulary to advanced students. It also defined reading and listening techniques the students can use to move through text faster such as skimming and scanning.
