Classroom management is extremely important for all educational institutions. The classroom is the place where teachers and students meet. In other words, the classroom is the place where students get education and knowledge, the important requirement for the teacher is, classroom management and its control, although it is challenging. Proper learning and teaching are not possible without a disciplined classroom. Classroom management is essential for achieving good results. For any educational institutions, classroom management is one of the most serious problems for effective teaching and learning. This problem directly affects the students' academic results and teachers' goals. The teacher's responsibility is to make the classroom an ideal place where teaching and learning are quite easy and possible. The teacher should know how to control the class and creating an environment where the teacher can easily transfer their knowledge to students. For that purpose, the teacher can set some rules and procedures that should be followed by students to make the classroom effective. For instance, the teacher should behave nicely and positively. The students should aware of what the teacher expects from them. If there is any unwanted behaviour noticed, it should be stopped immediately. In every classroom, there are always some favourite students in the class because of their behaviour and performance, but the important thing is the teacher should not behave biased or it should not be noticed by the students. The teacher should treat all students equally. Furthermore, all the students are equally responsible, accountable and answerable for their acts and can be punished if they break classroom rules. The real teacher doesn't need to force students to do something, by their act and behaviour inspires student. The teachers should have good qualities that should be attracted or grasp students' attention and can inspire them. For example, the teacher should be knowledgeable, positive, compassionate, cheerful, follow rules, energetic, punctual, etc. The great teacher knows the needs, necessities and behaviours of all the individual students. The teachers should deal with their students accordingly. For instance, some naughty students don't mind whatever the teacher says to them. Sometimes the teacher needs to deal with them strictly while some students are very sensitive they cannot bear strict behaviour or they feel insulted, for those students the teacher should deal with them differently. For effective classroom management strategies, the teacher should speak lesser than students, the teaching time is indirectly proportional to learning time. According to this relation, the teacher speaking time should be decreased and students responding and participating time should be increased. To increase students' time, some activities can be followed to maximize students' learning time. For example, having the conversation, group work, pair work, group discussions, increasing class interaction, open or close-ended questions. To control the classroom, bear in mind, the teacher should control its emotions and students should not be aware of teachers' weak points, it might be used by the student in the future. Some techniques can be used to make the class ideal for teaching and learning. The behaviour is the key rule; it can be varied in different situations, when there is a need, the teacher can have one to one conversation with the student, communicate in a good way, use polite language, have proper eye contact with your student, behave positively and body language should be positive too. During teaching avoid using a cell phone, fully concentrating on students and getting their attention. Do not break the rules, when any student wants to speak or share any idea, let him/her complete without any interruption, listen carefully what they say, if there is a concern or want to add something, add your idea or disagree with that point of view respectably. Make some rules and procedures that assist students to maintain a good atmosphere in the classroom. Make students habit, when to say something they should raise their hands, ask when they enter in classroom, taking permissions, motivate students who are shy and usually don't participate, encourage them even if they make mistake, rectify their mistakes and boost their confidence by using positive comments like, you can do it. In the classroom, the rules can be documented, at the beginning of the semester or starting of the new session, the teacher may share the rules and guidelines with the students then the students would be well aware of such rules and guidelines. By doing the rules documented, if the students break the rule they cannot deny that we had no idea or we were not familiar with that, they will admit it easily and will avoid not to doing that again. Moreover, try to build a friendly relationship with the students but with respect. Avoid punishing students, use different strategies to control them such as changing seating arrangements or if someone is making noise, the teacher may ask do you have any questions, rather than screaming or humiliating or isolating that student. Sometimes, the teacher needs to punish their student as a last choice, but make sure this punishment effect should not be prolonged. The following day the relationship with that student should be normal like other students. Also, make sure the teacher should not threaten or say something to the students that the teacher can't do. Always be realistic. By saying something that is not possible for the teacher, the teacher loses their respect and grace. Also, the teacher should always encourage the participation of students, encourage their ideas and initiatives even it is right or wrong, by doing this the student won't hesitate and will behave friendly. The teacher should praise the class by saying; good job, excellent, well done, etc. If the students do good work or follow the rules, appreciate them and make them an example in front of the class then the other students will motivate directly and will try to get the appreciation by performing well. To encourage students, it is not necessary to praise them with words or sentences, the teacher may use their gestures to appreciate them. There are many ways to make a good and friendly relationship by using nonverbal communication. Generally, after a short period, the students start knowing the teacher's gestures and body language. They know when the teacher is pleased with their acts and behaviour and when they made a mistake or did something wrong by noticing the teacher's facial expression. That is also an important tool for students to understand the teacher's behaviour. The teacher should be friendly with their student, to have fun and party as a reward. Another important thing is to build interest and excitement in your topic by your way of teaching. The students should not get bored. The lesson should not be the teacher's centred. Also, notice and observe the students that are weak and don't participate actively in the lesson. Whenever the teacher has free time, call those students and give some activities and discuss that topic individually to boost their confidence, enhance their learning skills and encourage them. That behaviour also helps students and teachers to make strong and good relations between them.
