Unit 7: Teaching Receptive Skills I learned about receptive skills, reading and listening, why we read, how we read and what we read, or how we listen. As instructors, we can observe and recognize how our students use their receptive skills and teach accordingly. I also learned about the importance of the topic to teach; it has to be an engaging topic that will awake the interest of the students.
