I teach English as a Second Language with two others - refugees,in Greece - and the unit inspired me to take a look at how we approach text of audio lessons. My beginners like songs, but I'd never really analyzed how I might best do a lesson like this (I'm always a little too anxious to get to the song! The engage/study/activate segments, either straight arrow or patches, are going to make a difference to my students, and who knows, when I continue the conversation with my colleagues, whom I've already written about this Receptive Skills lesson, they might be onboard.
