This unit is about teaching productive skills. Productive skills are speaking and writing. There are two types of speaking activities - accuracy activities and fluent activities. Accuracy activities concentrates on using correct language and fluency activities concentrates on fluency. Teacher has to ecourage students to speak without fear of making mistakes or lack of confidence. There are many speaking activities and we have to pick the most suitable one for our students. Writing is also very importat, but sometimes neglected in TEFL lessons. However, it is equily important skill and it helps us to communicate.
