I really like the phonetic alphabet. I learned it while getting my degree in Musical Theatre. This is one of the reasons I want to teach English. I love helping people pronounce words keeping in mind that most people will always carry with them some of their native dialect. I already have some fun ideas of how to teach pronunciation.
