This unit provides information on one of the most important topics/ issues in a teacher's life- lesson planning. Though there are schools, who do not necessarily want a detailed lesson plan, but most of them want the teacher to be aware and prepared for the lessons in class. For the new teachers, lesson plans really help. When I started to teach, I used to feel helpless or I would rather say weaponless without my lesson plans.I used to feel so disorientated. However, with passing time, I feel I do not necessarily need a lesson plan to carry out the activity, instead more for the documentation purpose. Also, depends which age group we are teaching,if we are teaching the same age groups for years, lesson plans basically fulfill the purpose of reflecting upon our own teaching and adopting better ways to make it even better.
