In this unit, I learned about reading and listening skills, why they're important, and how to cultivate these skills in students in a way that is fun and engaging. I learned about how to select content to read and listen to, how to present it, and how to make things easier for students that may struggle with more challenging words. Reading and listening comprehension are both crucial for people wanting to understand a new language. In this unit, I learned how best to teach students using reading and listening exercises to help them feel comfortable experimenting with and practicing the English language.
