During this course we have learnt many things about the english language which we were not familiar. It has given us the chance to further study aspects of english that we would commonly use on a day to day basis but without a full understanding. This course has also given us further insights into a variety of teaching techniques which we will be able to implement when we teach. Using what we have learnt we both intend to teach english back in our home country of hong kong. And even though english is very widely used in Hong Kong there is still a great demand for Native english Teachers within the local school system. Kathleen intends to use this TEFL certificate to complement her Bachelor?s in Social Sciences degree and Andrew will be using the certification to make a career change from a horse riding instructor to become an english teacher.
