These video lessons gave a practical insight into how these theoretical teaching methods work in real life. This lesson also demonstrated some behaviors and habits from teachers and how they impacted the atmosphere of the classroom. For example, in the first lesson, the teacher was intimidating, rushing the work and not patient with the students. This ended up impacting the reaction from the students and negatively affected their ability to participate and learn. In the first lesson, it did not appear that the course material was too hard for the students. Rather, the teacher's ineffective teaching methods made it difficult for them to participate. This lesson helped me realize how a teacher's behavior and lesson plan (or lack thereof) can impact the class.
