Unit Ten is a comparison of a poorly presented lesson (lesson 1) and a well prepared lesson (lesson 2). Lesson one is a good demonstration of what NOT to do in a lesson that newer teachers may unwittingly do; such as not having well thought out games for the activate stage of the lesson. Newer teachers may also just want to dive right into a lesson and not do a engage/warmup session and build rapport with the students. Lesson 2 is an example of a well prepared lesson which allows for students to know what is expected of them and they are able to follow along with no confusion. Clear explanations are given by the instructor at all stages of the lesson and the teacher's positive attitude makes the whole atmosphere of the class much more engaging.
