The teacher was well prepared in both lessons. But the first lesson lacks demonstration and the questions asked in the Engage phase are vague and confusing. Actually I find it impossible to engage beginners who know nothing besides 26 alphabets. So there is always no ESA for them. The process is basically just SA. ESA doesn't seem to apply to every English learner here in China. They just donn't have enough words to get engaged.
