This unit focuses on productive skills (speaking and writing). Speaking activities are divided into fluency and accuracy activities where accuracy focuses on producing correct language and fluency focuses on focus on allowing room for creativity with the language. speaking activities can also be grouped into controlled activities, guided activities, and creative communication. Writing which is usually the more difficult aspect of language focuses on handwriting, spelling and layout and punctuation. Both activities are equally important for facilitating learning.
