If the students are shy and not willing to raise their hands, the students tend to wait for the teacher to walk by and ask questions very quietly. When the students afraid of making mistakes, the teacher should make the student understand that making mistakes is part of the learning process and mistakes are expected by the teacher. The teacher also guides students to correct language usage and employs strategies for students to practice in a safe environment. Find new and interesting ways to practice old topics, introduce stories with a range of grammar points, and play games that allow students to review many topics at once.
