This unit deals with the teaching of productive skills which are the speaking and writing skills. It explains the difference between accuracy and fluency activities and provides examples for controlled activities, guided activities and creative communication. Additional issues in writing skills such as handwriting, spelling, layout and punctuation are also discussed. It also provides techniques to encourage interaction and the use of games.
