Unit eight is one of the more complicated units on English grammar. There are seven future tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, present simple, and present continuous. Although there are many tenses, the first four draw concepts from the four tenses previously explored in present and past tense units. The newer concepts include: be going + infinitive which focuses on intentions, predictions, and plans, present simple which deals with more formal situations, and present continuous which is used for definite arrangements and plans with a loose time frame.
