In this unit, I learned about the different future tenses and when each is used. I hadn't thought that using the future tense could be so complicated, but this unit seemed very complex to me! However, I believe I am comfortable with the content and feel like I learned a lot about the future tense! I learned how to explain these different tenses to students, errors to look for that students might make, and how to go about correcting them. I also learned about how two different present tense forms (simple and continuous) can be used to express what will happen in the future, and can now identify the most common tenses used when talking about the future. Additionally, I learned how to use activities and examples to demonstrate the future tense to students in a way that will be fun and beneficial for them.
