This unit focuses on teaching productive skills: speaking and writing. In case the teacher needs to introduce a communicative activity he/she needs to consider several core factors of a successful communication , e.g. creating a goal, desire for communication. Accuracy speaking activities are more likely to be taught dusing study phse of the lesson, while fluency - during the activate phase. A teacher needs to keep in mind and therefore be able to overcome certain obstacles that students may encounter during the speaking activities such as lack of confidence, interest, peer intimidation etc. In teaching writing one needs to take into account posible differences in grammar, spelling, punctuation that the students may face in comparing English with their native language. Creative writing as well as speaking should be encouraged during the lesson.
