What I learnt in this unit is that speaking and writing are very different skills and that each of them require a certain skill set. To be able to speak the language doesn't necessarily mean that you can write it as certain words are pronounced the same but spelled different and others are spelled the same but pronounced different. So developing these skills are very important for the students to be successful in the language. I also learnt that you don't write and speak the language in the same manner and that there are some differences. Using some of the example games is going to make teaching and developing the required skills a lot easier and more fun for the students. Different activities develop different skills and you should therefore change your style often to develop the different skills.
