This unit focused on planning lessons to teach. Why planning is important, how to create a lesson plan, and what should be included in the plan were discussed. The unit also provided a sample lesson plan for our reference, and a blank plan for personal use. It is important to remember when planning to focus on keeping the lesson simple and flexable. Forethought should also be given to expected problems, both for the student's learning and for the teacher's teaching.
