From this lesson, I have learnt that writing a lesson plan aids in proper planning however it should not be rigid to devoid adaptations when the need arise. The written plan for the lesson ought to be flexible. Also writing lesson plans give working documents to the lessons to the teacher and acts as a record of what the class has done. This record gives direction to whoever takes over from the teacher in cases of emergencies where he or she cannot be present for a class.
