As an inexperienced teacher at the start of her career this unit was especially helpful. Lessons plans had always seemed a little intimidating before as I imagined them being more complicated and extremely important for the class to be successful. The idea of writing beforehand your expectations of what the students should learn and comprehend by the end of the lesson is I think a great place to start a lesson plan, also to write down personal areas of improvement I can imagine being extremely helpful to measure growth.
