The sample lesson plan and activities were excellent! This process will require significant practice but the outline and examples provided were helpful. I am concerned about the imagery in the units as most of the people appear to be white. Is there anyway for the visuals to better reflect global diversity? Finally, not everyone travels but it is a very good and standard topic most people are comfortable with. For those who do not have significant travel experience, maybe an exercise focusing on visiting different neighborhoods in the student’s home city or their current city would be more suitable.
