This unit focussed on lesson planning and it talked about the pros and cons for planning. The purpose, principles of planning a lesson such as keeping it simple and do's and don't's. Also understanding that even with a plan, the lesson might change and we will have to adjust the lesson accordingly. A list of what a lesson plan should include was discussed as well as looking at an example and the template. Lastly, I learnt about how to plan a sequence of lessons. At the end, there were also examples of activity sheet that demonstrate how to go about teaching a particular topic.
