This unit provided insight as to how to plan a lesson. The most important piece of information was to keep the planning flexible as you never know what issues may arise. I think that lesson planning should be a skeletal design as it leaves room for more detail, but also doesn't restrict the teacher. Using a less detailed design would also help to ease the flow of changes and ensure that class time is not wasted. As someone who likes to plan, this unit has helped me realize how restrictive too detailed planning is.
