In the school I am working in, teachers are always required to write lesson plans before giving class, even some teachers are very experienced and qualified to tutor the students. Learning this unit, I understand it is very necessary to do that. A lesson plan is an aid to planning, so teachers clearly address what they expect their students to achieve after the class. Also, a lesson plan helps teachers to keep on target and gives teachers something to refer to during the lesson. Last but not least, a lesson plan acts as a record of what a class has done and which materials have been used.
