Unit 6 Past Tense: Though this unit still confused me I used the video to help better understand the Paste Tense. I was reminded how the past tense is really the present tense conjugated to show a different point in time. I understood how the two tense forms are related to one another. the conjugation of the irregular verbs will be difficult to understand for students whose L1 is not English. Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous could be problematic because they relate two past actions. Showing the relationships between the tenses could present problems, but is necessary for true understanding of sentence structure.
